Meet Katie
Hi, I am Katie O’Brien. I am a certified nurse midwife practicing in Dover, DE. I graduated from Georgetown University in 2007 and started delivering babies and caring for women and their families right away. Several very different practice models and hundreds (if not a 1000+) babies later I opened Mindful Midwifery. I have always loved teaching and empowering women in their healthcare journey and believe it is the heart of midwifery. I was a reluctant podcaster but after being “dragged” onto a couple of other podcasts realized how great podcasting is and I haven’t looked back!
